Temporary Residents
If you are away from home and in need of medical help but are unable to get to the surgery where you are registered, you are entitled to see a doctor anywhere in the United Kingdom.
We will be happy to see any relatives or friends who are staying with our registered patients and who require medical assistance.
If you are travelling away from home you should ensure you have sufficient supplies of any prescribed medication you need. Doctors are entitled to charge a consultation fee and a private prescription charge if they are asked to prescribe routine medication.
All patients registering as a temporary patient will need to bring some form of identification. Ideally this should be photo ID (a passport or driving licence) but other identification will be considered.
Please note we are not able to see you if you are not staying with one of our registered patients. If this applies to you, we recommend contacting 111 for advice.
