Noticeboard

Following the news about the proposed closure of St Damian’s Surgery, Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have instructed us NOT to accept any new registrations from St Damian’s patients at this stage.

The usual level of care is available at St Damian’s until the end of the year by which time the CCG hope to have completed their consultation with local practices and patients regarding arrangements for registration.

If you wish to consider registering with us, please check with us again in the New Year.

Thank you for your understanding,
Dr Rob Matthews & Partners

Temporary Residents

If you are away from home and in need of medical help but are unable to get to the surgery where you are registered, you are entitled to see a doctor anywhere in the United Kingdom.

We will be happy to see any relatives or friends who are staying with our registered patients and who require medical assistance.

If you are travelling away from home you should ensure you have sufficient supplies of any prescribed medication you need. Doctors are entitled to charge a consultation fee and a private prescription charge if they are asked to prescribe routine medication.

All patients registering as a temporary patient will need to bring some form of identification. Ideally this should be photo ID (a passport or driving licence) but other identification will be considered.

Please note we are not able to see you if you are not staying with one of our registered patients. If this applies to you, we recommend contacting 111 for advice.
