The triaging GP will decide if a telephone or face to face appointment is the most appropriate.
An appointment by telephone can be useful for a variety of reasons, for example if your condition doesn’t require a physical examination or if you need to discuss medications or a follow up.
We offer a number of telephone appointments in the early evening which can help if you need a review outside of normal working hours. When using eConsult, if you think a telephone appointment may be more suitable for you, please make it during the eConsult.
