Non NHS Services
Private Work Fees
While NHS services are provided free of charge to patients, there are some services that command a fee as they are not available or funded by the NHS; these services are referred to as non-NHS services.
GPs do not have to carry out non-NHS work on behalf of their patients.Their priority will always be the provision of safe and effective care to their patients, funded by the NHS.
GPs will undertake non-NHS funded work outside routine working hours. Therefore, the fees charged by the organisation contribute to the costs associated with delivering the services required in order to meet patient need
We aim to complete requests for Non NHS work within 15 working days from the date of payment. Some work is 28 days and you will be informed when your request is made. Please give us as much notice as possible and please put your request in writing via letter or email to the Practice Administration Team, email contact firstname.lastname@example.org
